Friendly staff. Nice lobby. Unfortunately, the positives stop there. Urine around the toilet was alarming. An upgrade was offered, but the lingering odor from previous guests was off-putting. Hallways showed wear, with torn wallpaper and dirty carpets. The lack of a proper breakfast setup and inconvenient grab-and-go options disappointed. Maintenance issues surfaced, like a non-functioning elevator. Guests may find limited amenities in the kitchen. While remodeling is underway, the execution feels half-hearted. Without significant improvements, returning seems unlikely. Clear communication about amenities and room conditions is essential. A budget option, yet not conducive for those seeking comfort or allergy-friendly environments.

Upon arrival, I was hit with the griminess of the room—stained carpets, a foul smell, and a filthy sofa bed. Seriously, the headboard looked like it had history, and I couldn't find anyone to help. Definitely not worth it.

The room featured a cozy layout with a kitchenette equipped with a stove, full refrigerator, and coffee maker. While it was clean, the aged decor showed signs of wear, including cigarette burns on the down comforter. Noise from the HVAC unit made it difficult to sleep at times. The bathroom vent let in an unpleasant smoke smell. Limited breakfast options led to a quick, unfulfilling start to the day. There were short staffing issues, and the pool was closed. Despite these drawbacks, the friendly front desk staff added a nice touch to the stay.

The outdoor swimming pool was the perfect spot to soak up the sun! I loved relaxing on the sun loungers after a fun BBQ with friends. The friendly staff made my stay feel extra special.

My room at Sonesta ES Suites was huge with a spacious accessible roll-in shower, perfect for my needs. The bed was incredibly comfortable and made my stay very pleasant. I'll recommend this hotel.

The place is lit - felt like a cool hangout spot! Visited Bank of America Stadium for game vibes and had an epic workout sesh in the fitness center. Perfect for young peeps who love food, fun, and action!
Would be even better if they had a lively pool party scene for young party-goers! .

My recent stay at Sonesta Es was a mix of ups and downs. On the bright side, I must say I appreciated the ironing facilities in the room, which came in handy for getting my clothes wrinkle-free. The heating was efficient, and the air conditioning worked well to keep the room at a comfortable temperature throughout my stay. I also liked having access to tea and coffee facilities in the room. It was nice to be able to enjoy a hot cup of coffee in the morning while relaxing in the sitting area. The dining table was a convenient addition, providing a space to enjoy meals or catch up on work. there were some areas that could use improvement. For starters, I found that there was a lack of garden furniture, which would have been nice to have for enjoying the outdoor spaces. the free toiletries provided were minimal, and I had to use my own supplies for the duration of my stay. I was glad to see that the room had adequate cookware and kitchen utensils, making it easy to prepare simple meals when needed. The am/fm alarm clock was a useful touch for ensuring I woke up on time, and the flat-screen TV provided entertainment during downtime. In terms of services, I found the dry cleaning and laundry options to be convenient, although I wish there were more shops or commercial services nearby for added convenience. A welcome drink upon arrival would have been a nice touch to kick off the stay on a positive note. While there were aspects I enjoyed, such as the ironing facilities and well-equipped kitchen area, there were also areas that could be improved, like the lack of garden furniture and limited toiletries. Making some enhancements in these areas could elevate the experience at this property.

Spacious 2, bedroom suite comfortably accommodated our family of 7. Located conveniently close to the airport with a nice room layout. Appreciated the presence of a security guard in the lobby during nighttime.
Room cleanliness was subpar. Dirty carpets, torn lampshades, and a strong, unpleasant smell persisted.

During our Christmas stay, we appreciated the spaciousness of the suite, allowing everyone to relax comfortably. The fully equipped kitchen was a plus, not just a mini-fridge and microwave. Additionally, having a basketball court next to the pool in the courtyard added a fun touch to our visit. The hotel's location on the south side of town was convenient, offering easy access to nearby attractions without being too far away.
Our experience was marred by various issues. The scent of stale smoke permeated our room, and despite informing the staff, the situation was not rectified.

this place was spotless, and super close to the convention center – made it easy for us to get to our event. found some cool local spots nearby too. staff were friendly and attentive, and the breakfast spread was impressive.

Fabulous amenities for an extended stay, from delicious breakfast to outdoor grills, keeping me content. A 15-minute smooth ride to the Nascar Hall of Fame is a cherry on top!

After changing rooms the first time, our stay at this hotel turned out to be a great experience. The staff was friendly and accommodating, always available at the 24-hour reception. The room had all the necessary amenities including a fully equipped kitchen, microwave, and refrigerator. The location was convenient, close to I-77 and not too far from Downtown Charlotte and the Quail Hollow area. The free Wi-Fi was fast and reliable, which was important for us as friends who enjoy going out at nights.
The need to keep asking for additional towels and washcloths. It would have been nice to have them readily available in the room.

Sonesta in Charlotte was an amazing place to stay. the front desk staff, especially Ivan, was exceptional - friendly, professional, and efficient. the check-in process was quick, and the lobby offered 24-hour complimentary coffee/tea. the room was spacious, clean, and well-stocked with a fully-equipped kitchen and a comfortable living area. the amenities, including the pool, BBQ area, laundry room, and breakfast options, were outstanding.
